Most of my time these days goes into research on the brain systems underlying learning and memory — modeling how hippocampal activity supports sequential and associative memory, and collaborating with statisticians and engineers on new methods for analyzing multimodal brain data.
I'm also still involved with ContinualAI, the research non-profit I co-founded to help build machines that learn more like we do, and I spend time mentoring and teaching as a pedagogical fellow at UC Irvine.
